Okay, guys, time to shine. You've worked hard and now is your chance to show how much you've learned.
Some hnts for success...
• Read through each problem.
• Ask for clarification if you have a question.
• Take care of the parts that you know how to do and don't get hung up on one thing. Move on and come back to it.
• Remember, there are many ways to achieve each of these exercises. Use your imagination and find your own way to solve them.
• To grab image, use 'control,click,save image as. If the file does not say 'orig' at the beginning of the name, you don't have the high res file.
•When your finish each piece, remember to save the finished, flattened jpeg file to your webpage. And check to make sure it is in there. You will need to add a tab to your site for 'Finished Final Exam Art'.

A New Pet for the New Year
Everyone needs a pet. A dog, bird or a fish? No, no, no. Not in 2014. This year is the year of the monarch butterfly. They don't eat much or take up too much space. They are great conversationalists and they don't tie your shoelaces together. So, your job is to merge 'Phil the Butterfly' onto the outstretched finger. You will need to remove the contact lens first though. Look to your cloning tools, masks, layers, etc. Try to make it as believable as possible with lighting, shadows and overlapping images.
Time to Bat Clean-up
This is the reason that umpires carry extra baseballs. We can't have dirty, grungy and filthy baseballs in our national pastime, can we? So your job, should you choose to accept it, (actually you don't really have a choice here, sorry) is to clean up this baseball. Try to make it look nice and new. Cloning, retouching, some color correction, maybe? It's your call.
Spongebob Goes to England!
Okay, so maybe the Brits may not exactly get Spongebob, but we'll make believe they just LOVE HIM! Nothing better than a 50 Foot talking sponge to spruce up a national landmark. So, take SpongeBob's' pic and replace the clock face. Use the new hands to make the clock complete. And set the clock for 10:15, so you can look forward to getting out of this exam. You should replace the clock face on both sides of Big Ben. Selection tools, some color correction, softened edges and lots more tools that you can decide to use. Make Patrick proud!
Time to Clean Up the Neighborhood
Well, you've cleaned up baseball, now it's time to clean up the neighborhood. Use your retouching skills and clean up this wall. Delete the spray painted face and clean up some of the stained bricks. You don't have to do all the bricks, but just try to make the wall look a bit nicer.
Extra Credit
Some extra credit is always nice. All you gotta do is cut out Daniel's pic from the background and place him on a white floor with a cast shadow. No sweat right? Watch out for your edges and blurs. Use your selection tools, layer masks and copy/paste function. Good luck on your exam!
